Moore expects Aiken to do some damage in the postseason: "The season has been up and down (so far). We are getting better. I think we will win district."
After he attended Miami's Elite Camp last summer, Moore told RedHawk Insider, "I love it. I love Miami. It is a good school. I'd come here and be the man at point guard. And hopefully Miami will offer me."
Moore got his wish. Shortly afterward, the RedHawks extended him an offer.
Moore said he also holds scholarship offers from Kent State, James Madison, Xavier, Ohio U., and Akron. Moore mentioned that Wisconsin is "thinking about offering" him. Previously, Moore told RedHawk Insider that Cincinnati, Dayton, Penn State, Toledo, Louisville, Ohio State, Kentucky, and other MAC schools had shown interest.
Moore has made an unofficial visits to Miami (Elite Camp), Kent, Cincinnati, and Xavier. He has no immediate plans to visit other schools.
Moore has been following Miami's season and said "I heard Miami beat up on Xavier." Miami topped local rival Xavier 75-64 in front of raucous crowd at Millett Hall on December 1st.
Moore earlier discussed his style of play:
"My strength is scoring. My weakness? Something I have been working on is to stop crying and pouting so much (laughing). Also, working hard on my defense and helping my team out a little bit."
Moore plays summer ball with All-Ohio Purple. In 2009, AOP won the AAU national championship (15 year old division). Moore's AAU teammates include Dwayne Stanford, Adolphus Washington, and Orlando Berry. He scored between 20 to 30 points a game for AOP.
