Trayvonn Wright is one of the most athletic players in the Midwest. As a sophomore, he won the Iowa high jump championship with a mark of 6’10”. For the achievement, he got the rare honor of being inducted into his high school’s hall of fame. He gave up his chance to defend his state title as a junior to focus on basketball. He helped his club to the a pool championship and a spot in the platinum bracket at Adidas Take 5 Classic in Cincinnati, Ohio earlier this week. Chrishawn Hopkins of Indianapolis Manuel High School has remained a relative unknown in the area due to moving back and forth from Las Vegas to Indiana. As a result, Hopkins only got to play in 8 games last season for Manuel.
However, once he attended the Elite Camps at Indiana and Miami, he no longer was flying under the radar. Full Story
